During this workshop, participants will not only gain an understanding of the workshop series but will also be introduced to the comprehensive roadmap for redevelopment. Participants will immerse themselves in the intricacies of the Ontario landscape for affordable housing development. They will explore the specific development processes and policies that shape the affordable housing sector, gaining a deep understanding of how these factors influence their work and community initiatives.

Description/Purpose:
This workshop will focus on empowering participants with the skills to identify key champions, influential councillors, and developers who support affordable housing initiatives in their neighborhoods. Participants will also learn to recognize other stakeholders and explore the relationships between politicians and entities financing major development projects. Additionally, the workshop will provide insights into understanding local governance and the crucial role developers play in housing provision, as well as policies shaping major stakeholder involvement in project development.
